Something New is Coming to Verity Naturals: Tallow Soap Arrives This April
At Verity Naturals, everything we create starts with the same simple question:
What would we trust to use on our own family?
For us, that answer has always come back to one ingredient time and time again—tallow.
For years we’ve used carefully rendered, locally sourced beef tallow to create nourishing balms, whipped moisturizers, and lip care. But over the past several months, we’ve been quietly working on something many of you have asked for again and again.
And we’re excited to finally say it:
Our first Verity Naturals tallow soap line will be available this April.
Why Tallow Soap?
Before commercial detergents took over the skincare world, traditional soaps were made from fats like tallow and lard. These fats create a soap that is:
• Creamy and conditioning
• Long-lasting and gentle
• Naturally compatible with the skin’s structure
Tallow contains vitamins A, D, E, and K along with fatty acids that closely resemble the oils our own skin produces. That’s why many people find tallow-based products incredibly nourishing and supportive for dry or sensitive skin.
When properly formulated, tallow soap cleans without stripping the skin, leaving it soft rather than tight.
Exactly the way soap used to be.
The Verity Naturals Process
Our soaps begin the same way our tallow balms do: with carefully rendered beef fat sourced from trusted American ranchers.
But soap making adds an entirely new layer of craft.
Each batch goes through a multi-step process:
-
Rendering the Tallow
The fat is slowly rendered multiple times to remove impurities and create a clean, stable base.
-
Cold Process Soapmaking
We combine tallow with complementary oils and carefully calculated lye to begin the saponification process—the transformation that turns oils into true soap.
-
Hand Poured and Designed
Every loaf is poured by hand. Some feature natural clays, botanical ingredients, or simple artistic swirls.
-
Curing Time
Unlike mass-produced soap, real cold process soap must cure for several weeks to harden and become mild and long lasting.
In other words…
Good soap takes time.
And we’re willing to wait.
Scents Inspired by Nature
Our April release will feature a small collection of thoughtfully chosen scents using essential oils and natural ingredients.
Expect calming botanicals, refreshing citrus notes, and grounding herbal blends designed to make everyday routines feel a little more special.
Some bars will also feature natural clays and botanical touches that make each bar unique.
Because at Verity Naturals, we believe skincare should feel simple, beautiful, and intentional.
A Natural Extension of Verity Naturals
The addition of soap feels like the next natural step for our brand.
If you love our:
• Whipped tallow
• Lip balms
• Healing balms
…you’ll love what tallow can do in a soap bar.
It’s the same philosophy we’ve always believed in:
simple ingredients, carefully sourced, thoughtfully made.
Coming April 2026
Our first tallow soap collection will officially launch this April.
These will be small batch releases while we scale production, so the first batches may sell out quickly.
If you’d like to be the first to know when they become available, make sure you’re subscribed to our newsletter or following along on social media.
We’ll be sharing sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes soap making, and first looks at the new bars as we get closer to launch.
And we can’t wait to finally get them into your hands.
